AstroBliss was born from the idea of wanting to make an impact. Our founders Michael Pool & Trixie Szilagyi wanted to have a business that meant something to them and to others. Before starting AstroBliss, Michael began working with wholesale hemp distributors striving to make quality products by white labeling hemp products for small businesses. Frustrated with inefficient operations, Michael decided to take things into his own hands and start his own company to help meet the needs of small businesses seeking out hemp products. One day when trying to figure out what to name his company, Michael asked a smart home device a simple question, “Hey Google, what’s your favorite word?”. The smart home device replied, “AstroBleme, it’s a word with impact.” Michael & Trixie quickly got to researching what AstroBleme meant. AstroBleme is a geology term for a crater caused by an impact from a celestial body otherwise known as a star wound. Michael & Trixie chose AstroBleme as the name of the company to represent the impact that quality hemp products can make on others lives. AstroBleme became the name of a company that creates quality, impactful products for other businesses - but it didn’t stop there. Michael & Trixie began to think about a consumer facing business that could bring that same impact onto the lives of others, and that’s where AstroBliss was born. AstroBliss from then on would be its own brand that people could feel safe and rely on for quality hemp edibles and drinks. The brand extended even further with AstroBloom, which focused on kava & botanical products, in addition to a brick & mortar retail store called AstroBrew - where people could find their favorite drinks, whether it’s coffee, tea, hemp mocktails & more. Today, Michael & Trixie are still the sole owners and operators of AstroBliss, working to make an impact in an industry that is absolutely taking off.
